Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Ghost Scrubber ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

License Grant

Subject to these terms and your payment of the one-time purchase fee, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Install and use Ghost Scrubber on devices you own or control
• Use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes
• Ghost Scrubber includes an iOS Share Extension that operates under the same terms as the main application.

Purchase & Payment

• Lifetime Access: Your purchase includes lifetime access to all core photo redaction features and essential maintenance updates for the current platform.
• No Subscriptions: There are no recurring charges for the photo toolkit.
• Future Modules: We reserve the right to introduce specialized new modules or tools (such as video redaction) as optional, separate one-time purchases in the future.
• Ghost Scrubber is a one-time purchase app priced at $6.99 USD (or equivalent in your local currency)
• Payment is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store)
• Refunds: Refund requests are subject to Apple's refund policy. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Acceptable Use

Ghost Scrubber includes a 7-day on iOS and 14 days on Android a free trial with full access to all features. After the trial expires, a one-time purchase of $6.99 is required to continue using the app. Trial status is stored on your device and persists across reinstalls.

Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Use the app only for lawful purposes
• Not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the app's source code
• Not use the app to violate any person's privacy or intellectual property rights
• Not redistribute or resell the app

Prohibited Uses

You may NOT use Ghost Scrubber to:

• Create, distribute, or facilitate illegal content
• Violate any local, state, national, or international law
• Infringe upon the rights of others

User Responsibility

• You are responsible for how you use the app and any content you create or modify
• Ghost Scrubber is a tool; you must ensure your use complies with applicable laws (privacy laws, consent requirements, etc.)
• We are not liable for any misuse of the app or content processed through it

Intellectual Property

Ghost Scrubber, including its code, design, and trademarks, is owned by its creators. Your purchase grants you a license to use the app but does not transfer any ownership rights.

No Warranty & Limitation of Liability

The app is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not guarantee that:

• The app will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Face detection or text redaction will be 100% accurate in all cases
• The app will meet your specific requirements
• Manual Review Required: Ghost Scrubber is a detection assistant, not a fully automated privacy guarantee. It is your responsibility to manually verify all redactions before sharing images with third-party AI tools or social media.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app ($6.99)

Ghost Scrubber uses automated OCR and face detection that may not detect all sensitive information in all images. The app is not a substitute for manual review. You assume all risk associated with sharing any image processed by this app. Always verify processed images before sharing.

Third-Party Platforms

Ghost Scrubber relies on Apple iOS and Google Android operating systems. We are not responsible for:

• Platform changes that affect app functionality
• App Store or Play Store policies, fees, or availability
• Device-specific compatibility issues

Updates & Changes

• We may release updates to improve features, fix bugs, or maintain compatibility
• Updates are included at no extra cost (lifetime access)
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice

Privacy

Your use of Ghost Scrubber is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which details our commitment to on-device processing and zero data collection.

All image processing occurs entirely on your device. Ghost Scrubber does not transmit, store, or have access to any images or personal data."

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the app if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your license to use the app ends immediately
• No refunds will be issued for violations of these Terms

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Major changes will be communicated via app update notes.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Ghost Scrubber regarding use of the app.

Apple App Store — Additional Terms

This app is distributed via the Apple App Store. You acknowledge that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that upon your acceptance Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary. The Standard Apple EULA applies and is incorporated by reference: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

You may not use Ghost Scrubber in any country embargoed by the U.S., or if you are on any U.S. government restricted persons list.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. For users in the EU, mandatory local consumer protection laws apply.
